CC “Drunk History” contest submission 2/23

Comedy Central’s “Drunk History” is having a contest, whereby a submission could win a walk-on role in Season 3. Being a fan of the show, I loved the idea and sent one in. We were to choose from a list of characters in previous episodes, and, as the character, explain why we felt we were not portrayed properly.

I chose German boxer Max Schmeling, as featured in the Joe Louis Montgomery, Alabama episode. Using a German accent and an extremely comfortable track suit, I explained that I deserved to be champion in 1930 not because I got hit below the belt, and also that I had no association with the Nazis as was portrayed in the episode. Historically speaking, Max Schmeling was quite a stand-up guy.

Here is the link to my submission.
